Vocal Cord Paralysis (Paresis)

Vocal cord paresis (paralysis) is when one or both vocal cords/folds are weak. Vocal cord paresis causes a decrease in vocal cord mobility, which will impact your ability to speak normally. This is often caused by strenuous misuse of the voice.

Symptoms of vocal paresis include vocal fatigue, loss of vocal range, reduced volume when speaking and/or singing, pain when speaking and/or singing and shortness of breath. Vocal cord paresis can also affect your ability to swallow and clear mucus with coughing and sneezing. This can result in an accumulation of mucus around the vocal cords.

Our unique and revolutionary Non-surgical Voice Repair program will not only repair your voice and your vocal box, it will also teach you how to use your voice correctly, according to the standards of professional speaking/singing.

You will learn how to restructure your voice into your facial muscles – as opposed to your vocal cords – with the support of your abdominal muscles and that will minimize the pressure on your vocal cords and box. It will also help bypass your vocal box, meaning the minimized movement of your vocal cords will not severely inhibit your ability to speak clearly. By treating the cause – using your voice incorrectly – and not the symptoms of your problem, your vocal problems will never be an issue again and we guarantee it!

Through the application of natural herbs and homeopathic remedies, any damage previously done to your vocal box will heal, and the mucus that builds up as a result of vocal cord paresis will also clear. Once you’ve learned how to use your voice properly, you will no longer irritate your vocal cords and that will protect you from the recurrence of vocal cord paresis.
